About the event
🎓 Bonsai 101: Bonsai Wiring fundamentals – Get hands-on practice with the fundamentals of properly wiring bonsai. Members will work in small groups to learn and practice basic wiring techniques.
🌲 Program: BYOT wiring - Bring a deciduous tree or conifer and put what you’ve learned into practice. Members will have the opportunity to work on their own trees while receiving advice and assistance from experienced club members.
📍 Location: Leslie Classroom at the Waterfront Botanical Gardens
🪴 Raffle: We will have the normal raffle.
🔨 Silent Auction: The Shimpaku juniper styled by Jim Doiron during the 2025 Iron Bonsai Competition will be auctioned at the meeting.
