We had a great month of bonsai during September.  A big thanks to Julian Adams for his great lecture and accompanying workshop.  He put together a great program, and I'm sure we all learned a lot.  If you missed the Julian Adams workshop you can learn more about him by visiting his website, http://www.adamsbonsai.com.

Congrats to Dave Bogan and George Buehler.  In the latest issue of Bonsai, Journal of the American Bonsai Society there was a brief mention of both of our club members.  Dave has been named as the newest board member and George has been named as the newest vice president of the American Bonsai Society.

The Fall show will be held at the Crane House (http://www.cranehouse.org) the first weekend of October.  Earl Ekman will be heading up the show, so all members interested in displaying a tree or lending a helping hand are encouraged to contact Earl.  The Crane House is located at 1244 S. Third Street.
