The weather is turning cooler, the days getting shorter and most of us are now planning our winter and spring bonsai tasks. Also for most of us, it is kind of nice not to have to do the normal daily bonsai routines of watering, trimming, fertilizing, etc. We can also take a few minutes to start thinking about what new type of tree we want to get next spring or which bonsai event weekend we want to attend next year.
We will publish the complete 2005 GLBS schedule next month, so you can mark your calendar. We hope you will attend as many of these events as you can. I have noticed that we seem to have the same group of members attending the monthly meetings. A number of our members don’t attend any of the meetings or events. I know we are all busy but the benefits you are missing out on are the learning experience and some good camaraderie with the other club members. Hopefully, we will see you at one of the meetings.
As usual, we are requesting new articles from the members. If you would like to see articles on a particular subject, let me know and I will see what I can do.
