Although the Indianapolis Bonsai sale has already passed, going to Indianapolis to see the bonsai exhibit should prove to be an beneficial trip. This information was submitted by Ron Smith - ED.

The popular Bonsai show at White River Gardens returns this fall, opening on September 18 and running through November 14. The magnificent specimens of the Indianapolis Bonsai Club members will again be on display, both inside the Hilbert Conservatory and outside in the Knot Gardens. The Club will also have its annual Bonsai Plant Sale in the Grand Hallway at the Gardens during the weekend of September 25-26, with specimens for both novice and expert alike. New this year is the addition of beautiful Ikebana floral arrangements provided by the Japan- America Society. Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement - a disciplined art form in which the arrangement is a living thing in which nature and humanity are brought together. These lovely arrangements will be rotated throughout the show, so stop by on multiple occasions to see what's new! The show is included with regular Gardens admission.
