MORE INFORMATION ON HOW TO SAVE SOME MONEY?

Last month we presented a way to save money for both you and the club by receiving this newsletter in electronic form. We have gotten several responses to this offer and we thank them. I want to repeat some of the information presented last month and to potentially sweeten the deal. I have joined an association of bonsai club newsletter editors. Every month I receive a number of their newsletters. We are trying to get permission to distribute their newsletter to those of you who take the GLBS newsletter electronically. There are no promises at this point but it is a potential. If I can work it out, it is not mandatory to take the additional newsletters just an offer. I will send additional information as it becomes available to those who sign up for the electronic issue.

Once again the yearly dues will be $30 for a family membership. The Board of Directors has decided to offer a $5 discount off the membership dues if you agree to accept this newsletter electronically. In addition to the benefit of saving $5, you will be able to see the pictures we put in this newsletter in living color rather in the drab black and white of the print version. The file in which we send the newsletter will be an Adobe PDF file which is easy to read or if you want to print (in color!).
