HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAVE SOME MONEY?

Even though it is only September, we need to remind you that club membership dues run from Jan 1 to Dec 31, yearly. Once again the yearly dues will be $30 for a family membership. In addition to all the benefits of being a member, the membership includes receiving this newsletter (hopefully you think it is worth it). The Board of Directors has decided to offer a $5 discount off the membership dues if you agree to accept this newsletter electronically. In addition to the benefit of saving $5, you will be able to see the pictures we put in this newsletter in living color rather in the drab black and white of the print version. We intend to increase the number of pictures in upcoming issues as well as using some color type. The picture on page 7 is a beautiful color copy of a shohin forest. The background is a vibrant blue sky. The print copy just doesn’t do it justice. The file in which we send the newsletter will be an Adobe PDF file which is easy to read or if you want to print (in color!).
