Club Info
The Greater Louisville Bonsai Society, founded in 1971, is one of the oldest bonsai societies east of the Mississippi. The Society is a non-profit, educational society of individuals interested in the art of miniature trees. Through the use of workshops, professional demonstrations, lectures, and video presentations the members strive to increase their proficiency in this challenging hobby. Benefits that members enjoy include a monthly newsletter, access to the Society's library, and most important, however, are the opportunities that members have of sharing their common interest in bonsai with one another.
The Society has monthly meetings and activities scheduled throughout the year. Most meetings are held at the Bon Air Library, unless specified otherwise. Visitors are welcome. Membership is $30 per year for a family. We would be pleased to welcome you as a new member. And to help you get started in this rewarding and exciting activity.
